The only goal was scored by  Adewale Akinlabi aftermath a tension soaked match which gave the very skillful Osun boys the much fancied trophy.

Though the Osun boys carried the day with their bundle of talents and tactics, the Imo side paraded some individuals that elicited commendation and applause from the crowd. One of these young but creatively incredible players was Henry William who eventually grabbed the Golden Boot Award.

Henry William rattled the defence of the Osun boys with his deft moves and passes which were intermittently thwarted by the tactically effective Osun’s defence.

At the other end of the pitch, striker Enoch Emmanuel shined  for Imo but Chukwuma Abara matched his quality attempts with terrific saves.

But Akinlabi’s individual effort gave the Osun representatives the trophy.

The midfielder took the ball in the opposition’s area and beat off challenges from opposing defenders, skillfully, before blasting the ball past the outstretched arm of Abara.

In the third-place final, Government Junior Secondary School, Katsina defeated Fosla Academy, Abuja 1-0 to finish  third  in the prestigious competition.
