Selected food price watch data for August 2017 reflected that the average price of 1 dozen of Agric eggs medium size increased year-on-year by 12.02% and month-on-month by 0.48% to N487.51 in September 2017 from N485.19 in August 2017 while the average price of piece of Agric eggs medium size(price of one) increased year-on-year by 22.88% and month-on-month by 6.52% to N45.72 in September 2017 from N42.92 in August 2017.
The average price of 1kg of tomato increased year-on-year by 13.83% and decreased month-on-month by 25.25% to N322.39 in September 2017 from N431.30 in August 2017.
Similarly, the average price of 1Kg of yam increased year 0n year by 28.65% and decreased month-on-month by 24.43% TO N259.51 IN SEPT. 2017 FROM N343.39 IN AUG. 2017.
