The Lagos Water Corporation, MD, Engr. Muminu Badmus and some Senior Management Staff of Production, Distribution and PIU Departments met today, 15th November 2017, with representatives of Trimax Systems on the Proposed Automation of Major Treatment Plant of Adiyan, Iju, Ishasi, Otta-Ikosi and Akute Intake.
The meeting/presentation took place in the LWC Conference room, Ijora, Lagos.
The American based company (Trimax Systems) earlier this week visited Otta-Ikosi, Adiyan, Iju, Akute Intakes and Ishasi Waterworks on a working visit to the LWC Major Waterworks facilities.
MD said the proposed project will be digitalized and is believed to help the Corporation identity which machinery is functioning properly, at its optimal and which is not while watching from headquarters, as the world is moving away from manual operation systems.
He said this will equally compliment and reduce reliance on human efforts.
The meeting held November 15, 2017, was a wrap-up meeting on the proposed project.
