Kerosene Price Watch (November 2017): Nassarawa, Zamfara and Kano are States with the Lowest Average Price Per Gallon of Kerosene – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released the household kerosene Price Watch for the month of November 2017 detailing average prices paid by consumers across states, Brand Spur Nigeria reports.

In the report signed by the Statistician General of the Federation and Chief Executive, NBS, Dr. Yemi Kale and made available to BrandSpur Nigeria, the bureau said the average price per liter paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene decreased by -2.30% month on month and decreased by -5.56% year-on-year to N267.14 in November 2017 from N273.44 in October 2017.

States with the highest average price per liter of kerosene were Edo (N300.88), Enugu (N300.00) and Jigawa (N298.14).

States with the lowest average price per liter of kerosene were Nassarawa (N216.66), Zamfara (N206.42) and Kano (N204.99).

Similarly, the average price per gallon paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene increased by 11.95% month-on-month and by 28.89% year-on-year to N1,052.33 in November 2017 from N1,035.12 in October 2017.
