Executive MBA participants from top business schools in South Africa and Kenya will be joining colleagues on Lagos Business School’s MBA programmes for the inaugural edition of the International EMBA week set to begin on Monday, September 10, 2018.

Themed Playing to win in Africa: Exploring business opportunities in Nigeria, the ultimate purpose of the programme is to help participants understand the dynamics of the local business environment in Nigeria and Africa.

During the week-long programme, participants will explore entrepreneurship hubs in Lagos with visits to Balogun Business Association Market and the popular accessories market, Computer Village. They will also have dinner with top players in some of Nigeria’s fastest growing sectors – fashion and entertainment.

LBS MBA Director, Dr Uchenna Uzo expressing his excitement said, “We cannot wait to welcome these participants as we prepare to take them through a fully immersive experience of the thriving sectors in Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria.”

There will also be teaching sessions and case study discussions facilitated by LBS’ faculty members and selected industry leaders. The programme will close with a Dragon Den’s contest where participants will go head to head in an investment challenge and pitch business ideas to a panel of judges.

The International EMBA week is in collaboration with Strathmore Business School, Kenya and University of Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa; two of whom are on the growing list of LBS’ business school partners.
