The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola has described the ongoing residency registration exercise being conducted by the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) as very important in planning judicious allocation of resources to various sectors of the State.

Muri-Okunola, who made the assertion during a courtesy visit by LASRRA delegation to his Office on Wednesday, said proper planning via residency registration will ensure that the State Government effectively determines the overall resources needed to formulate and implement important policies, programmes, and projects.

He also advised the Agency to continue with its sensitisation programmes and promised support in its areas of need, revealing that he will soon meet with all Agencies and Parastatals in the State for a briefing on how to chart the way forward.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and General Manager, Mrs. Olukemi Adelusi, solicited the HoS’ support in solving challenges being faced by the Agency such as the need for office accommodation at the Local Government and Local Council Development Areas.
