Ikeja Electric Cautions Against Attack on Staff

…as Jobberman releases “Best 100 Companies To Work For in 2018”

In what seems to be an affirmation of IE’s overall brand improvement, Nigeria’s leading disco has retained its top 100 spots in the recently released Best 100 Companies to Work For in 2018 List.

The annual ranking, published by ace recruitment agency Jobberman, is compiled based on “job satisfaction, employee happiness, career growth prospects, work-life balance and other relevant metrics as voted for by employees and career professionals”.

The company which surveys a pool of respondents consisting career professionals and employees has published the list in the past 4 years calling attention to best practices which many of the local and multinational companies hold dear.

Speaking on the recently released list, Head Corporate Communications of Ikeja Electric, Felix Ofulue said it is not surprising as IE is an evolving environment that is constantly adjusting to contemporary realities in a manner that ensures that employees are increasingly happy to work here.

“We have introduced various initiatives such as our Reward and Recognition Awards that have put smiles on the faces of our colleagues. Today, at IE, everyone knows that hard work, innovation and excellent service delivery comes with commensurate recognition. The happiness index is on a gradual upswing and though there is still more that can be done, the truth is that the disposition of Management towards the wellbeing and motivation of employees is very obvious.”

“We have also witnessed an increase in applications from top-notch candidates from very competitive industries like banking, oil and gas and telecoms, a further testament that Ikeja Electric is a great place to work,” Ofulue concluded.
