In 2016, Piggybank Nigeria launched as just a savings product. Over the years, based on your feedback, we introduced more products such as Safelock, Target Savings, PiggyFlex etc., even going as far as to include other financial services like insurance (AvonFlex).
With your help, we have grown from 0 to a community of almost 200,000 registered savers who saved well over one billion naira (₦1,000,000,000) in January 2019 alone!
We have morphed into more than just a savings platform, and are growing into a robust financial management platform with many products planned for the next few years, to enable you to better manage your finances.
To better reflect our growth, who we are and our vision, we need a new name. Over the next few weeks, we will be transitioning into a newer, broader identity that encompasses this new phase.

What does this mean for you?
It’s the same Piggybank.ng, but better, with more savings and investments products tailored to help you better manage and grow your finances. We are fanatical about providing quality service to you and will continue to do so. With our new name, PiggyVest, we are able to reach even more users across the world who want to better manage all aspects of their finances.
We love the name “Piggybank” just as much as you do, and to have a little reminder of our journey, we will be replacing it what is currently known as “Core Savings” on the platform. This means your Core Savings will now be called your “Piggybank Savings”.
The next 12 months will see us adding even more safe & secure investment features to reflect our mission of helping you better manage and grow your finances.
