Oppo has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the F11 Pro with 48-megapixel rear camera and pop-up front camera. The Android 9 smartphone is expected to launch first in India, before rolling out in other markets.

The F11 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen with 90.9 percent screen-to-body ratio and resolution of 2340×1080. Available in Aurora Green or Thunder Black, the phone features a gradient colouring on the back to reflect variations in light and a crescent-like curved body to make it easier to hold and optimise speaker output.

The back camera comes with a main 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor as well as extra features such as ‘ultra night mode’ and ‘dazzle colour mode’ which take advantage of the AI engine to enhance low-light photos. The 16-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a small pop-up extension that rises from the centre top, avoiding a notch in the panoramic screen.

Other features include a Mediatek P70 2.1 GHz processor, 4,000 mAh battery with the company’s Vooc Flash Charge 3.0 system for fast charging, 6 GB RAM and a choice of 64 or 128 GB storage. No NFC is included.
