Oko’wo Dapo: 2000 Women have benefited In The First Stage

2,000 Women have profited in the first stage of the women empowerment initiative tagged Oko’wo Dapo which is a direct loan facility to women to improve trade as well as micro, small and medium scale enterprises.

The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun explained that this initiative is a social intervention programme that is carried out of the desire to make life better.

Throughout history, the central role of women in society had assured the security, progress and long-term growth of nations.

Globally, women comprise 43 per cent of the world’s agricultural labour force – rising to 70 per cent in some countries.

Women are the primary caretakers of children and elders in every country of the world.
