The winner of the African Freestyle Football Championship, Titi Kone, has smiled home with the cash prize of $3000, after winning the Heritage Bank African Freestyle Football Championship which was held recently in Lagos.

The final was a repeat of the 2018 championship, as Kone again defeated Egypt’s Yousef Mohamadjust as he did in last year’s final while Ashley Mhkize of South Africa placed third.

Speaking on his achievement, Kone said: “This is a great honour. I am thankful to Feet n’ Tricks for this incredible platform and opportunity, I look forward to using it to inspire others and make Africa proud.”

The event saw lots of talents come out to show their skills with the ball while they also compete for the cash prize attached.

According to Heritage Bank, “This championship is an avenue for young people to showcase their talents with the ball and earn money while doing so”.

“We are thrilled to be sponsors of this event as we continually seek creative avenues to build wealth for all Nigerians”.

“The Heritage Bank brand is one that consistently promotes art, passion and self-expression. Freestyle Football inculcates all three elements into its execution. We are thrilled to have been part of this event and to be contributors towards the growth of freestyle football across Africa.”
