LASDRI set to Commence Online Training

The General Manager of the Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI), Mrs. Afusat Tiamiyu has revealed that the training Institute is putting plans in place to start an online training for professional drivers.

Speaking on a Yoruba Radio Interview Programme “Bosenlo” on Traffic Radio 96.1FM, Tiamiyu explained that the training programme is designed for those professional drivers whose schedules are tight and could not create time to attend lectures at the Institute.

She added that the online training curriculum will offer the various courses taught at the Institute, noting, however, that it is not meant to replace the classroom training at the LASDRI.

The GM stressed that any professional driver that takes the online training will still have to come to the Institute for the mandatory eye-test and biometrics before being issued the re-certification card.

Tiamiyu, therefore, appealed to the motoring public to obey all the traffic laws of the State to make the roads safe and accident-free.
