Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom & Ebonyi are States with the Highest Average Price Per Gallon of Petrol – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released the Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) Price Watch for the month of November 2017 detailing average prices paid by consumers across states, Brand Spur Nigeria reports.

In the report signed by the Statistician General of the Federation and Chief Executive, NBS, Dr. Yemi Kale and made available to BrandSpur Nigeria, the bureau said the average price paid by consumers for premium motor spirit (petrol) decreased by -0.7% year-on-year and – 0.3% month-on-month to N 145.6 in November 2017 from N146 in October 2017.

States with the highest average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Bayelsa (N150.5), Akwa Ibom (N 150.33) & Ebonyi (N148.57).

States with the lowest average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Plateau (N143.6), Abuja FCT and Nasarawa (N144) & Katsina (N144.08).
