CIBN inducts 784 members (Photos)

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has inducted into its directorate a total of 784 members who have successfully completed the various qualifying professional examinations of the Institute in the year 2017.

In a statement, the CIBN said these members, which consist of 241 newly qualified Associates, 67 Chartered Bankers MBA, 413 MCIBs and 64 Core Diploma will be inducted at its Annual Induction ceremony tagged: “2018 CIBN Graduates’ Induction and Prize Awards Day” in Lagos on Saturday.

In preparing the minds of the newly inducted members for the challenges set ahead and to get them acquainted with essential skills to competing and surviving in the 21st century, a lecture titled: “The 21st Century Professional: Vital Skill Sets for Success” delivered by Mr Usen Udoh, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Dangote Industries Ltd.

The Special Guest of Honour will be Mr Edward L. Adamu, DepuMrGovernor, Corporate Services Directorate, Central Bank of Nigeria while Dr. Uche Olowu, President/Chairman of Council of the institute Chaired the occasion.

Mrs.Folakemi Fatogbe, Director risk management representative of Mr Edward Adamu, Deputy Governor, Corporate Services, noted in her address that it is important to continue to self-improvement in the 21st-century professional skill market

She made known in her address that the landscape and customers’ demand are changing, making therefore important for inductees to leverage the positive change

In her concluding statement, she made known that tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it and you prepare for continuous knowledge and research.
