KONGA LAUNCHES ₦500,000 GAME OF CODES CHALLENGE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

If you are a student of any Tertiary Institution in Ibadan or in Oyo State and you are interested in coding, this should interest you.

Nigeria’s largest online shopping mall, Konga has announced the launch of Game of Codes 2017, a developer challenge for  students of tertiary institutions all over Nigeria who are interested in coding and programming. The competition has amazing prizes up for grabs.

The challenge is for students currently studying in a Nigerian university/tertiary institution and have the ability to code. The students must apply in groups (minimum of 3 team members and maximum of 5) for the challenge by March 3, 2017.

Shortlisted teams will be invited to Lagos to present their projects on April 7 – 8, 2017. The winning team will receive ₦500,000 and a paid opportunity to work with some of Nigeria’s top engineers. There’ll be prizes and goodies for the runners up.

This isn’t the first time Konga is organizing such a challenge for Nigerian students. Last year, it organized a Software Developers Hackathon in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the company rewarded  winners with cash prizes and the opportunity to be mentored by its best Software Engineers.
