Lifemate set to export furniture, lauds govt

THE Managing Director of Lifemate Nigeria Limited, Mr Derek Dai has disclosed that the company will soon begin exportation of furniture to other countries.

Dai, who commended the federal government for providing a conducive atmosphere for business to thrive in Nigeria said, Lifemate is already working with the Nigeria Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) and Federal Ministry of Industry, Trades and Investment to ensure that the furniture manufactured in Nigeria are being used outside the country.

Dai spoke to Journalists at the weekend during the inspection of the company new showroom to be commissioned in Abuja on Thursday. The showroom is said to be the largest in Africa.

He said the company has increased its production line to make Nigeria the hub of furniture manufacturing in the world. 

According to him, “The cooperation and encouragement from the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has been tremendous, and it is a great time to congratulate the Minster of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr EnyinnayaOkechukwuEnelema and Hadjia Aisha Abubakar, Minister of State for Industry for working assiduously with President Muhammadu Buhari to restore the confidence of foreign investors in Nigeria and revive the Nigerian economy.
