In a bid to disrupt the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) landscape in Nigeria and provide its teeming customers with bespoke local, continental and oriental dishes, Magrellos, Nigeria’s fastest growing indoor and outdoor catering services provider, recently embarked on a re-launch of the brand, starting with a rebranding of its new ultramodern head office in Ogudu GRA, Ojota, Lagos.

Speaking at the ceremony last week Friday, the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Magrellos Foods, Mrs. Margaret Ohwofa, said the relaunch of the brand was part of efforts to reposition the brand for the younger generation as well as families and the working class, who have always found the brand appealing.

Mrs. Ohwofa also said the re-launching and rebranding will spread to Magrellos outlets in Magodo, Surulere, Festac Town and Ikorodu Town. Mrs. Ohwofa also disclosed that Magrellos will soon be opening a new outlet in Lagos Island.

Though all outlets of Magrellos are currently located in Lagos, she said the brand will soon delight discerning customers outside Lagos with its delicious meals and excellent services. Mrs. Ohwofa said her ultimate ambition is to make Magrellos a national brand.

Present at the brief ceremony was the chairman of the group, Chief Simeon Ohwofa; Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Godson Echiejile; Chairman of Addide group of stores, Mr. Ade Odunuga; former permanent secretary for Housing, Lagos State, Mr. Tunji Odulami; Managing Director, Titan Insurance Brokers and Newsguru Columnist, Mr. Francis Ewherido, family, friends and the vicar of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Ogudu, Venerable Tope Tapere, who led the prayer session.

Magrellos is a fully Nigerian private owned food company established in 2006 with office based at 169, Ogudu Road, Ikeja. The business offers a wide variety of meals, pastries and confectionery, varieties of bread and ice cream proRoadion units.
