Here Are The Average Prices Of Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene And Cooking Gas For December 2020

The sale of petrol, known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) dropped by -0.8% percent in May 2018  from N151.4 in April 2018, PMS Price watch of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) confirmed today.

NBS in its report listed Borno, Benue & Akwa Ibom as paying N166.08, N160.31, N160.31, and N159.44 respectively for the product. They paid highest. While Katsina, Kano & Bauchi experienced the lowest average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) paying N144.82, N144.87 and N144.93 respectively.

According to the NBS, the Average price paid by consumers for premium motor spirit (petrol) decreased by -0.3% year-on-year and -0.8% month-on-month to N150.2 in May 2018 from N151.4 in April 2018.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) also disclosed that federal Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) imported 5.67 bln litres of premium motor spirits (PMS), 954.47 mln litres of automotive gas oil (AGO), 66.914 mln litres of household kerosene (HHK) and 5122.067 mln litres of aviation turbine kerosene (ATK) into the country in Q1 2018.
Bringing total petroleum products imported in the first quarter of 2018 to 6,813,784,945 litres.
