Never Take Any LinkedIn Connection for Granted…

ILO and LinkedIn launch data insights partnership

A group of Christian businessmen in Charlotte, North Carolina, decided that their city needed a crusade. So, they invited Mordecai Hamn, a Baptist evangelist, to be their speaker. After three weeks, Hamn left town discouraged because he had only made one convert, a twelve-year-old boy.

The twelve-year-old boy was Billy Graham who later grew to become a spiritual adviser to presidents and the most respected and influential preacher of the 21st century!

One connection. One link. That is all it takes for your dream business deal or job to come true.

Nurture your connections. Respect them. Let them be worth your attention. Don’t see them as irritants when they ask you for help. Help if you can. And if you can’t, still make them feel good about themselves when telling them ‘no’.

Post to encourage and inspire them as they go on their career and entrepreneurial journeys.

You can never tell when one connection will come through for you with the answers you seek.

One connection is all it takes to open the gate that will change your entire career or entrepreneurial narrative. Don’t take any of your connections for granted!
