Nimbus hosts 2018 nominate a charity contest

Nimbus Media Limited, an out of home media and advertising company is et to organize the 2018 edition of its flagship CSR initiative; The “Nominate A Charity” contest. The Nimbus ‘Nominate A Charity’ initiative is geared towards giving visibility to charity organizations that are supporting laudable causes in Nigeria and the contest has grown bigger and bigger over the years.

The winner of the competition will win a month’s free exposure on Nimbus Network of shopping mall digital screens valued at over N5, 000, 000.00. Speaking about the contest, the managing director of Nimbus Media Limited, Mr. Wale Adegoke, promised that the 2018 edition of the contest will be bigger and will encompassing to accommodate more participants. He revealed that the call for nominations from the general public to help pick an NGO or cause that they think deserves to win the FREE one-month onscreen exposure on all its digital screens across different shopping malls in Lagos, already commenced.

He stressed that Nimbus Media Limited will continue to use the “Nominate a Charity” initiative as a platform to promote change and support NGOs who show commitment to educating, empowering and inspiring their communities to make the world a better place.

Past winners of the competition; strap and safe charity, food clique support initiative and Doctors health initiative have all given testimonials of the increase in awareness about their causes as a result of their participation. Bolajoko Fadipe, Founder of FoodClique Support Initiative, the 2016 winner had this to say:

The general public can start voting for a charity of their choice starting from 27th August to September 8, adding that the winner of the 2018 edition of the nominate a charity contest will be announced on September 12th, 2018.
