Following approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria, SunTrust Bank commissions its first off-site ATM at the Premises of Marathon Business Group at No 14, Amodu Ojikutu Street, Victoria Island. This brings to 12 the total number of ATMs deployed by SunTrust Bank, tomorrow’s bank today.  For the business community along the busy Amodu Ojikutu, Saka Tinubu and Bishop Oluwolestreets, this ATM provides the most needed platform for online transactions and cash pull.

A few days ago, SunTrust Bank Nigeria received two certifications. The first is the ISO/IEC 20071:2013 Certification by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board, PECB, Canada, a certification body and an organization in audit management, systems, and processes. while the second is a payment card industry data security standard, PCIDSS, by Digital Jewels, an Information Value Chain Consulting and Capacity Building Firm with a focus on information and technology, IT, governance, risk, and compliance. It also has competencies in information security, information assurance, project management, e-business and knowledge capacity development.

While ISO/IEC27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems is the international best practice standard for information security which provides a set of standardized requirements for an information security management system,  PCIDSS compliance is essential to any organization that processes, stores, and transports payment cards.

These certifications are in line with Suntrust’s ethos of securing our systems against cyber threats and a proof of our commitment to provide maximum protection for her client’s data.
