I was aghast when I learned on BBC about the search for the missing football team comprising 12 boys and their coach who had been trapped in a flooded Cave in Northern Thailand. I was very much impressed by the Thailand government’s disposition to rescuing them when they were eventually found. They went all out to ensure the safety and rescue of these boys!
Now tell me, what would these rescued boys not be willing to do or give for their country when they have the chance?
As it is with governing a nation, so it is with running a company. Company owners and bosses should be willing to go to any length to ensure the welfare of their employees.
Employees are not to be seen as ‘tools’ for making money. They are to be seen as living, functional and essential to the success of the organization. And should be treated as such!
Question: Why do employees rarely leave some companies?
Answer: The companies’ staff welfare policy, most likely.
Such companies do not see any employee as too ‘small’ to go all out for! ”
