International Transportation Company, Uber is celebrating a milestone. It’s been 3 years since Uber hit the streets of Lagos state, South-west Nigeria.

The taxi hailing service began operations in Lagos, Nigeria on 25 July 2014.

The company listed some of its services in the statement. “We have connected thousands of people since launch and have facilitated over a million trips through the platform!

Uber said, “In 2015, we enabled over 1,000 economic opportunities in Nigeria and aim to create thousands more in 2016.
