Winners Emerge In Bounce News Loyalty Promo Draws

Two grand prize winners have emerged in an electronic draw at the maiden edition of the Bounce News loyalty promotion draws which ended in June 2018.

The three months consumer loyalty promo which began in April saw Mr. Jacob Ovey and Mr. Kayode Oyeyemi, winning the grand prizes of an all-expense paid trip to Dubai and London respectively and each winner will also go along with one other person each of their choice.

Representatives of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and the Lagos State Lotteries Board were on ground to witness the draws.

While congratulating the winners, Speaking on the loyalty promotions, General Manager Bounce News, Mr. Goodluck Ikporo, General Manager, Bounce News, said the promo was an avenue in appreciating the support of its loyal consumers who have reposed their trust on the platform.

Ikporo said that with over 1.3 million downloads so far the promo is their own way of giving back to the consumers for being part of their success story.

“We have lots of giveaway gifts for our consumers as a way of telling them that we love them and appreciate their support for a brand new online news platform that has just sprung up in Nigeria.

“Apart from the grand prizes of all expense paid trip for two persons to Dubai and London respectively, we are also rewarding other 1,200 lucky winners of the draws with various gifts from among the thousands of entries we received. The gift items include 100 new Android smartphones, data bundles worth over 1000 each, over 100 movie tickets to watch any movie of their choice in any part of Nigeria and Airtime recharge cards”.

Ikporo explained further that the two grand prize winners were selected through the draw from the pool of entries for the promo.

Commenting on the live promo draws, Susie Onwuka, Head, Lagos Office of the Consumer Protection Council, while congratulating the winners said the electronic draws have made promotions more transparent and believable among Nigerian, adding that no one was in doubt about the process leading to the emergence of the winners.

Speaking in the same vein, Joy Okuna, an Assistant Director from the National Lotteries Regulatory Commission, said consumers were gradually beginning to trust promotion draws since the emergence of the electronic draw system, noting that it is a vindication of the many years of advocacy of the commission for a transparent and fair processes of determining winners of lottery promotions in Nigeria.
