The Governor of Kwara State Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq tweeted that he visited the sites of some of the businesses that were looted by hoodlum and what he saw was disheartening. He stated that he would help the owners of these businesses get back on their feet and he has set up N500m fund that they can apply for.
Those eligible to apply are businesses that were victims of the recent looting and robbery that took place in major commercial areas in Ilorin, Kwara State. You can apply for the fund by clicking Kwara State Government SME Recovery Fund Grant Application Form

This information is needed in order to verify how valid your claims are about being looted and also you can’t successfully apply without filling the application form that shows you are actually in need of the relief from Kwara State government.
While some bigger brands in Nigeria may have insured their stores, since this isn’t the first time shops, malls, stores are getting looted. Small businesses in Nigeria may not have the same luxury.
