Since Cinemas are still on lockdown for the public hindering New releases to blockbuster movies. We just have to reflect back to savour the blast from the past iconic movies. Well, I have decided not to take from the regular high grossing movies of the period.
For obvious reasons, of course, We have seen it countless times. Now, Lets Start with the year 2000.
Road Trip (2000) – Rated 18+
Road Trip is a 2000 American comedy film directed by Todd Phillips and written by Scot Armstrong and Phillips. The film stars Breckin Meyer, Seann William Scott, Paulo Costanzo, and DJ Qualls as four college friends who embark on an 1800-mile road trip to retrieve an illicit tape mistakenly mailed to a girlfriend.
Bandits (2001)
Two friends and convicts, Joe and Terry, break out of Oregon State Penitentiary in a concrete mixing truck and start a bank robbing spree, hoping to fund a dream they share. They become known as the “Sleepover Bandits” because of their modus operandi: they kidnap the manager of a target bank the night before a planned robbery, then spend the night with the manager’s family; early the next morning, they accompany the manager to the bank to get their money.
Using dim-witted would-be stunt man Harvey Pollard as their getaway driver and lookout, the three successfully pull off a series of robberies that gets them recognition on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, and ultimately the reward for information leading to their capture is increased to $1 million.
The Time Machine (2002)
In 1899, Dr. Alexander Hartdegen is an inventor teaching at Columbia University in New York City. Unlike his friend David Philby, Alexander would rather do pure research than work in the world of business. After a mugger kills his fiancée, Emma, he devotes himself to building a time machine that will allow him to travel back in time to save her. When he completes the machine in 1903, he travels back to 1899 and prevents her murder, only to see her killed again when a horseless carriage frightens the horses of a horse-drawn vehicle.
Kill Bill Volume 1 (2003)
Kill Bill: Volume 1 is a 2003 American martial arts film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It stars Uma Thurman as the Bride, who swears revenge on a team of assassins (Lucy Liu, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, and Vivica A. Fox) and their leader, Bill (David Carradine) after they try to kill her and her unborn child. Her journey takes her to Tokyo, where she battles the yakuza.
The Butterfly effect (2004)
The Butterfly Effect is a 2004 American science fiction thriller film written and directed by Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber, starring Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart. The title refers to the butterfly effect, a popular hypothetical situation that illustrates how small initial differences may lead to large unforeseen consequences over time.
