The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, recently, approved an increase in electricity tariffs for customers classified under Band A, BrandSpur Nigeria reports.
Some customers of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC) will be affected by the new electricity tariff.
This digital news platform understands that customers in this category will now be charged atleast N225 per kilowatt-hour (KW/h), a significant rise from the previous rate of N66 electricity tariff.
Below are the Band A areas affected by the new tariff in Lagos State
