Seven Up Bottling Company has elevated Omokehinde Thomas to the role of Marketing Manager for its Energy and Hydration portfolio, marking a major leadership shift within the company’s marketing structure and reinforcing its focus on growth-driven brand management.
The appointment, which became effective four months ago, places Thomas in charge of strategic marketing direction, brand performance, and commercial delivery for key products within the fast-growing energy and hydration segments. The move reflects the company’s confidence in her ability to manage complex portfolios while driving market relevance and revenue growth.
Brandspur Brand News reports that Thomas’ elevation represents a deliberate transition from specialised digital marketing into full-spectrum marketing leadership, where business outcomes, brand equity, and long-term competitiveness take centre stage. Her role now spans market strategy, consumer engagement, and performance accountability across multiple product lines.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Omokehinde Thomas described the new position as a defining phase in her career, noting that the responsibility comes with a broader commercial lens and deeper leadership demands. She highlighted the shift from campaign execution to orchestrating brand growth across margin, scale, and consumer perception.
Thomas emphasised that her approach to marketing has evolved from optimisation-focused digital tactics to integrated brand leadership, where marketing functions as a core growth engine rather than a communications support unit. According to her, the role requires balancing discipline with ambition while aligning brand decisions with measurable business impact.
Her professional journey at Seven Up Bottling Company began in October 2023 when she joined as Digital Marketing Lead, moving from agency-side leadership into client-side brand management. Before then, she held senior roles at Noah’s Ark Communications Group, including Deputy Business Director at The RedWolf Company, where she played a key role in scaling the digital unit into a full-service agency.
With over 15 years of cross-industry experience spanning FMCG, telecommunications, technology, finance, media, NGOs, and government campaigns, Thomas has worked on major brands such as Airtel, Maltina, GOtv, Maggi, Nokia, and Three Crowns Milk. Her background combines brand strategy, business operations, client servicing, and digital innovation.
Academically, she holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Rome Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Covenant University. She is also a certified Digital Marketing Institute professional and a recognised voice in Nigeria’s marketing ecosystem.
Thomas has received multiple industry recognitions, including being named among the Top Digital Marketing Personalities in Nigeria and earning honours at the ADMARP Awards for her contributions to digital marketing excellence. Her latest appointment positions her as a key driver of Seven Up Bottling Company’s growth ambitions within Nigeria’s competitive beverage market.
