The LoveBox campaign which took place in different malls across Nigeria on Valentine’s Day required any MTN consumer to download the My MTNApp, spot the models wearing yellow heart-shaped QR codes, scan and win prizes instantly.

The different malls include The Palms, Lekki; Ikeja City Mall; Polo Park Mall, Enugu; Shoprite Abuja; Kwara Mall, Ilorin; Port-Harcourt Mall and Cocoa Mall in Dugbe, Ibadan.

At the cocoa Mall, Ibadan, hundreds of consumers won various gifts. Miss Prisca, a UniAbuja student and winner of a brand new Samsung smartphone at the Cocoa Mall Ibadan was heard saying, “now my dad can rest from me bugging him to buy me another phone. My sisters and I came to the mall to eat and then saw the ladies in yellow heart-shaped vests with the big  QRcode. I asked and had to delete other heavy apps on my phone to download the MyMTNApp. I am so happy I won. I also love the fact that I can get ba onus on my data plans on the App. Thank you MTN.”

Some others went home with movie tickets for 2, ice-cream vouchers for 2, shopping vouchers and free data courtesy the MTN LoveBox campaign.

The staff of MTN were not left out of the celebration, as the heart-shaped costume wearing models were also positioned at MTN Headquarters for staff also to participate in the #MTNLoveBox campaign. A staff who won 2 movie tickets said she loved the idea of the company sharing the love in simple ways and the innovative idea of using the QR technology.
