This week, Communique finally crossed 1,000 subscribers on Substack and, in just two days, it added 8,000 more on LinkedIn. In nearly two years of publishing this newsletter, I’d been “satisfied” with growing the list slowly. But something changed this week.
I created a version of the newsletter on LinkedIn to increase its visibility. In 10 minutes, it got nearly 800 subscribers. By Wednesday evening, the list had grown to over 8,000.
I learned just how impactful LinkedIn could be for distribution, if done right. A part of me feels like I finally unlocked a new secret, but it’s always been there. I just failed to see it.
