According to data filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is a participant in Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.
Elon Musk filed an amended general statement of acquisition, announcing that Twitter received approximately $7.2 billion in new financing commitments in connection with the merger agreement, subject to the terms of co-investor equity commitment letters.

Binance is one of 18 co-investors in the acquisition, along with major crypto industry players such as Sequoia Capital Fund and Fidelity Management and Research Company, according to the document.
