Inclusion For All Unpacks Women’s Financial Access To Commemorate Women’s Month

14ALL (Inclusion for all); a multifaceted advocacy platform affiliated to EFInA (Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access), with the primary goal of ensuring that excluded populations are given a pathway to digital and financial inclusion;, is set to host a LinkedIn Webinar on Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

The session’s goal is to discuss the current state of Women’s financial access in Nigeria through the lens of different ecosystem actors. This event is the first virtual version of the platform’s multi-stakeholder convening tagged   – Inclsuion for all Dialogies (I4ALL Dialogues). This will be the second convening, the inaugural and physical edition was held in July 2023themed (Digital ID for the last mile – enabling access to digital ID for rural female agricultural workers).

I4ALL Dialogues is an issues-based and evidence-backed multi-stakeholder convening platform to inform conversations and discuss solutions to the barriers preventing digital financial inclusion in Nigeria.

The exclusive webinar, themed “Inspiring Inclusion: The State of Women’s Financial Access in Today’s Economy,” is delivered as part of I4ALL’s International Women’s Month advocacy activities to inspire action and progress for women’s financial inclusion. It will bring together policymakers, women advocacy leads, and financial Inclusion enthusiasts to discuss solutions for obstacles, examine pertinent data, and evaluate the required advancements for achieving financial inclusion goals for women.

Speakers include Amina Bakari – Project Manager, Teasy International Company Ltd, Yetunde Fatogun – Social Development Specialist, World Bank; and Nora Igwe – Programme Manager, EFInA.

Among the highlights of the discussions during the State of Women’s Financial Access in Today’s Economy Webinar is understanding the challenges women face in accessing financial resources and the economic impact of limited financial access for women. The conversation will also cover policies and strategies currently implemented to overcome these challenges and inspiring stories of women and speakers championing financial access for women.
