
Francois Gillet has been appointed as Promasidor Nigeria Limited’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with effect from July 1, 2024. The company is happy to announce this appointment.
Bruno Gruwez, who has chosen to pursue other chances outside of the Promasidor Group, is succeeded by Francois.
Francois leaves Danone, where he held the position of General Manager in Réunion, to join Promasidor Nigeria. He had a lengthy career as a general manager with Lactalis, a global leader in dairy, in Algeria and Brazil before joining Danone.
Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry development and profitability have been consistently driven by seasoned executive Francois, who has a wealth of worldwide expertise, especially in emerging markets. Francois is a wonderful fit for the role, according to Promasidor Group Chief Executive Officer, Anders Einarsson.
Einarsson said: “His expertise spans organizational leadership, strategic analysis, business model development, and commercial management, making him ideally suited to lead Promasidor Nigeria’s next phase of growth.”
ESCP Business School is where Francois, a French national, obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has a wife and kids.
