The fifth edition of Laughter On Lockdown has been announced by the Africa Comedy Academy (AfriCAs), with Zenith Bank joining as a major sponsor.
The fifth edition of the Independence Show, with the theme “For the Culture,” is expected to be an incredible celebration of Nigerian pride, talent, and unity, according to the organisers.
Designed to bring Nigerians together both domestically and internationally, the Independence Day celebration honours the country’s revitalised optimism via humour, music, and diversity, BrandSpur banking and finance news reports.
Alongside comedic stars Forever, SLK, Dan D Humorous, HPrince, and social media sensation Triclowns, Buchi will be the main attraction at LOL V. On the same night as TurnUpCommissioner makes a special appearance, rising talent Chaka Chaka makes his debut.
The event’s organisers have declared that Zenith Bank’s backing of it “reaffirms” their commitment to promoting patriotism and solidarity.
The organisers stated: “The bank aims to bring Nigerians together in celebration, reminding everyone of the enduring strength and resilience of the Nigerian spirit through LOL,” it stated.
