Cadbury Marks 60 Years Of Operation In Nigeria

On January 9, 2025, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, a division of Mondelēz International, one of the biggest snacking corporations in the world, celebrated 60 years of operation in the nation.

To satisfy rising local demand, Cadbury Nigeria reportedly transitioned from repackaging imported bulk items into a complete manufacturing facility.

BrandSpur news brand reports that after being formed on January 9, 1965, Cadbury Nigeria Limited went public on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in 1976.

Mr Adedotun Sulaiman, Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria, commented on this milestone, saying: “Cadbury Nigeria has come a long way from its humble beginnings to what it has become today. We are proud of our achievements in the last six decades. We know the journey has often been turbulent, but we will continue to demonstrate the resilience that we are known for and keep offering value to our shareholders.
