Telecommunications giant Globacom has unveiled Travel Saga, an exclusive mobile gaming service for its subscribers, signalling the company’s push into mobile entertainment and digital engagement.
The newly launched game is a story-driven role-playing adventure designed specifically for mobile devices, providing players with console-style experiences on their smartphones. According to Globacom, Travel Saga allows users to explore virtual worlds, complete missions, engage in battles, participate in challenges, and unlock multiple storylines while earning rewards such as points and achievement badges.
Brandspur Brand News reports that the game is optimised for data-enabled handsets and delivers an immersive experience for both casual and competitive players. Subscribers can access the service on daily or weekly subscription plans, priced at ₦100 per day or ₦250 per week, with flexible options for one-time payments or automatic renewals via the USSD code *700*21#.
Globacom emphasised that the launch of Travel Saga forms part of its broader strategy to expand mobile entertainment offerings, strengthen customer engagement, and position the network as a pioneer in interactive digital services. The company aims to combine storytelling, gaming, and rewards to create a unique platform for its users, enhancing the overall mobile experience.
This move could boost subscriber retention and attract new users seeking innovative digital services, especially as mobile gaming gains traction in Nigeria’s rapidly growing telecom market.
