Kade will succeed Carlos Coutino, who is moving to a new leadership role within the company.
Nicholas Kade brings over 15 years of commercial leadership experience across Africa, having driven growth, transformation, and operational excellence in complex markets. Before his appointment, he served as Sales Director at IBPLC, overseeing national sales strategy, revenue generation, and performance management.
Kade’s academic credentials include a Bachelor’s and Honours degree in Business Management, a Master’s of Commerce (with Distinction) from Stellenbosch University, and a Postgraduate Programme in Business from GIBS Business School, University of Pretoria. He joined AB InBev through a highly competitive Graduate Management Trainee programme, which equipped him with end-to-end commercial leadership expertise.
Throughout his career, Kade has held multiple Commercial Director roles in South Africa, leading large, diverse teams, executing route-to-market strategies, and implementing customer experience transformations. His track record demonstrates sustainable commercial results and strategic business enablement.
