LG Electronics Nigeria and CleanAce Foundation & Academy have launched a strategic push to strengthen Nigeria’s fabricare and dry-cleaning industry, hosting a high-level Hyper Masterclass Conference designed to equip professionals with tools for growth, compliance and sustainability ahead of 2026.

The conference, themed Making Audacious Moves in 2026, brought together members of the Fabricare Professionals and Drycleaners Association (FDPA), industry operators, policymakers and business experts for an intensive knowledge-sharing session focused on innovation, trust-building and operational excellence.

Addressing participants, Founder of CleanAce Foundation & Academy, Mr Eniibukun Adebayo, said the programme was created to help professionals move beyond routine business practices and embrace informed, strategic decision-making. He noted that the fabricare sector stands at a critical point where professionalism, accountability and innovation will determine long-term survival and growth.

Brandspur Brand News reports that the event also drew strong government presence, reflecting growing public-sector interest in the contribution of small and medium-scale professional services to job creation and economic development. The Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Honourable Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, represented by Mrs Abiose Taiwo, Director of Entrepreneurship Development, reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting structured professional bodies such as FDPA. According to her, strengthening associations remains key to creating sustainable livelihoods and expanding employment opportunities across Lagos State.

LG Electronics Nigeria used the platform to reinforce the role of technology in driving service quality and customer confidence within the industry. Speaking at the event, Mr Samuel Odenusi, Head of Commercial Laundry Business, Nigeria, emphasised that modern fabricare businesses must invest in reliable, high-performance equipment to remain competitive. He stated that customer perception is closely tied to efficiency, consistency and the quality of tools deployed, adding that LG remains committed to supporting operators with durable and dependable solutions.

The masterclass featured a keynote address by Dr Olakunle Iyanda, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Broot Consulting, who challenged business owners to take initiative while strengthening internal systems. He urged participants to prioritise trust, transparency and team alignment, stressing that client confidence remains a critical driver of growth across service-based industries.

Beyond strategy and leadership, the conference delivered practical guidance on regulatory and financial matters expected to shape business operations in 2026. Sessions included an overview of emerging tax policies by Mr Abriel Akinlolu of Fin-Goal Consulting and a risk management presentation by Mr Peter Ajagunna of Temple Insurance Brokers Limited. These discussions focused on compliance, risk mitigation and resilience in an increasingly regulated business environment.

The event concluded with a gala and awards ceremony recognising outstanding contributions within the fabricare industry. Awards were presented across multiple categories, including leadership, discipline, professional excellence and public service, highlighting the sector’s commitment to quality standards and community impact.

Industry stakeholders described the conference as timely, noting that the blend of policy insight, business strategy and technical expertise provided a clear roadmap for operators seeking sustainable growth in Nigeria’s evolving fabricare market.
