Red Bull Nigeria has announced the appointment of multi-industry marketing expert, Adedeji Layade, as its new Head of Marketing. Layade brings over 15 years of experience across fintech, banking, FMCG, and entertainment sectors, marking a strategic move to strengthen the brand’s presence in one of Africa’s largest consumer markets.

In a LinkedIn post, Layade expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “I got WIIINGED! Excited to announce I recently joined the Red Bull Nigeria Leadership Team as Head of Marketing.” He outlined his mission as growing the brand sustainably through creativity, culture, and sports, in ways that resonate locally and globally.

Brandspur Brand News Desk reports that Layade joins Red Bull Nigeria following a successful tenure as Senior Brand Manager for Adult Premium Non-Alcoholic Drinks at Guinness Nigeria (Diageo), where he led football marketing initiatives and trade visibility programmes. He has also held key positions at Interswitch Group as Product Marketing Manager for Quickteller, Head of Media and External Relations at Wema Bank Plc, and Brand Manager at Alat by Wema.

Layade holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Babcock University and a Master of Science in Strategic Marketing Management from Aston Business School, UK. His professional journey is complemented by a creative background, having worked as a Presenter, Producer, and News Correspondent at MAX 102.3FM and as a professional voice-over artist for numerous commercials across Nigeria.
