
Cornerstone Insurance Plc has reported a remarkable financial performance for the year ended 31 December 2025, driven by strong insurance revenue growth and improved service results, highlighting the company’s resilience and operational effectiveness.
Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that the company’s unaudited financial statements filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited show insurance revenue rose to N43.7 billion, representing a 44 per cent increase from N30.4 billion in 2024. Meanwhile, the insurance service result surged to N10.7 billion, marking a 353 per cent increase from N2.4 billion achieved the previous year.
The company attributed the performance to disciplined underwriting, strategic risk selection, and operational efficiency, alongside customer-focused innovations and technology-driven initiatives designed to enhance service delivery and create long-term value.
Cornerstone Insurance’s Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Stephen Alangbo, said the results reflect the success of the company’s strategic direction and operational reforms. “Our 2025 performance demonstrates the effectiveness of our growth strategy, digital transformation, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experience despite a complex operating environment,” he stated.
The Chief Financial Officer, Mr Jubril Ajose, noted that prudent financial management and cost optimisation measures were key to the company’s profitability growth. He highlighted that the increase in both revenue and service results demonstrates improved underwriting margins and efficient claims management, reinforcing operational leverage.
