National Examinations Council Statistics: 870,397 candidates sat for the examination in June/July 2016

The National Examination Council (NECO) Data from 2013 to 2016 reflected that a total 870,397 candidates sat for the examination in June/July 2016 as against 969,490 in corresponding period in 2015. 504,515 of the candidates were male while the remaining 365,882 were female.
Similarly, a total 47,118 candidates sat for the examination in November/December 2016 as against 49,084 in corresponding period in 2015. 19,772 of the candidates were male while the remaining 27,346 were female.
