Startimes Introduces Pay-Per-Day Plan From November 1st

Startimes Nigeria has announced the launching pay-per-day (PPD) subscription model in the country, effective November 1, 2017.

This was disclosed on its Official Twitter handle @StarTimes_Ng :

StarTimes_NG: It gets better. You can now watch as much as 30 Channels with N60 ONLY.

In a statement made by the Management, Startimes Nigeria says this would allow subscribers watch some important programmes not available on their bouquet. Now Subscribers can now enjoy unlimited access to quality entertainment, BrandSpur Nigeria.

Enjoy over 40 TV channels with just N300 a week! And here it gets better, Subscribers can now watch as much as 30 Channels with N60 ONLY.

This came after TSTV launched its its pay-as-you-consume service weeks ago, the first of its kind in Nigeria and with relatively cheap subscription packages. TSTV will begin full operation November 1st, 2017.

Talking about the recent competition in the PayTV landscape, the debate is still ongoing around which pricing model would best suit pay-TV consumers in Nigeria.
