Greif Nigeria Plc (Greif of the Company) hereby announces the retirement of Mr Olukunle Obadina as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from 31st October 2018; and the Appointment of Mr David Olufemi Onabajo as the new Managing Director of Greif Nigeria Plc. with effect from 1st November 2018.
Mr. David Olufemi Onabajo was born on 16th February 1975. He holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, a Masters of Business Administration and Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Marketing and Management. He is an accomplished professional with over 16 years of results-driven and dedicated track record with wide-ranging experience in planning and leading operations involving medium-large scale manufacturing environments.
David joins Greif from the Food and beverage industry where he had responsibility for all aspects of operations. He also has previous experience in the power project technology industry.
Greif Nigeria Plc manufactures and markets steel drums in Nigeria. The company was formerly known as Van Leer Containers (Nigeria) Plc and changed its name to Greif Nigeria Plc in May 2004.
