This is to notify The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange), our esteemed shareholders and other stakeholders that Lafarge Africa Plc will be unable to release/publish its Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended 31st March 2019 (Q1 2019 UFS) by 30th April 2019, as required by extant Rules of The Exchange.
The delay is occasioned by the fact that the Company is yet to file its 2018 Audited Financial Statements (2018 AFS).
The approval of the Nigerian Stock Exchange has been sought for the delay/late filing of our Q1 2019 UFS.
We are positive that once the 2018 AFS is finalized and submitted, the Company will be in a position to submit its Q1 2019 UFS, not later than the 29th July 2019.
