Afriland Properties Plc Launches ArtFrica Competition

Foremost property development and investment company, Afriland Properties Plc has announced the launch of ArtFrica competition in commemoration of the forthcoming Africa Day on May 25, 2019.

The #AfrilandArtFrica competition is aimed at encouraging artists from across the continent to create masterpieces that represent Africa and the African spirit. Artists, painters, sculptors, dancers, musicians, drummers, etc. have the opportunity to submit their entries for a chance to win the cash prizes for our top 3 entries.

Speaking on the competition, Afriland Properties Plc CEO, Uzo Oshogwe stated that; “Recently, the integration of art into real estate and vice versa can’t be overemphasized. At Afriland, we believe art is a huge fragment of culture and a catalyst for social change.

Africa has one of the most multifarious cultures in the world and this is often expressed in the way we dress, interact and a diverse range of activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artefacts. We want people to tell the African story through the eyes of art.

Each contestant will be able to showcase their creativity to the world while they compete for the prizes.

Entry into the competition is free, with the last date for submissions being June 5, 2019
