Accelerate TV Hosts, Alumni of Accelerate Filmmaker Project to Advanced Filmmaking Workshop by God’s Calling Director B.B. Sasore.
As a prequel to the 3rd edition of the Accelerate Filmmaker Project, Access Bank’s digital initiative and content creating hub; Accelerate TV; hosted past trainees of its Accelerate Filmmaker Project to a full day of training in the art of advanced filmmaking.
The Workshop was conducted by director of Banana Island Ghost and God’s Calling; B.B. Sasore and also had Model, actress and scriptwriter Eku Edewor and celebrity and influencer manager; Enyi Omeruah in attendance to also shed some light on how their different professions are essential in the filmmaking process.
Past trainees of the Accelerate filmmaker project who were in attendance watched God’s calling movie and had the real chance to ask the Director first hand on the inspiration behind the different scene of and the many tough decisions he had to make during the shooting process. Sasore who was really detailed in his replies also took the opportunity to share the honest truth with the young aspiring filmmakers, expressing the need for them to ensure that they continuously create content and showcase their talents in all situations.
The workshop which was supported by the Ford Foundation was a perfect way to set the tone of the upcoming 2019 edition of the Accelerate Filmmaker Project training week coming up on the 13th to the 18thof June 2019.
