Average price per litre paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene decreased by -0.11% month-on-month and increased by 12.71% year-on-year to N315.91 in May 2019 from N316.26 in April 2019, according to the bureau.
States with the highest average price per litre of kerosene were Anambra (N363.54), Ebonyi (N355.00), and Plateau (N351.85).
States with the lowest average price per litre of kerosene were Abuja (N291.67), Katsina (N290.67) and Gombe (N265.39).
Similarly, the average price per gallon paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene decreased by -0.12% month-on-month and increased by 23.07% year-on-year to N1,210.56 in May 2019 from N1,211.99 in April 2019.
States with the highest average price per gallon of kerosene were Gombe (N1,415.38), Taraba (N1,397.00) & Jigawa (N1,378.57).
States with the lowest average price per gallon of kerosene were Bayelsa (N1,040.90) Akwa Ibom (N1,031.25) and Abuja(N1,012.50).
