Standard Alliance Insurance Plc (Standard Alliance or the Company) wishes to inform The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange), its shareholders, stakeholders and the investing public that the Company will be unable to file the 2nd Quarter Interim Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 June, 2019 (Q2 UFS) due for filing on 30 July, 2019, because the Company is yet to file its Audited Financial Statements for year ended 31 December 2018 (2018 AFS).
Please note that the Company is also yet to file its Interim Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 31st March 2019 (Q1 UFS) because the 2018 AFS is still outstanding.
The Company will submit the Q2 UFS and all other outstanding financial statements to The Exchange as soon as the 2018 AFS is ready and approved by the Board and the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
We are optimistic that the Q2 UFS will be submitted on or before the 28th of October, 2019.
