Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Tuesday took another step towards the actualisation of his administration’s education and human capital development agenda by distributing instructional materials to public schools in the State.

At a colourful event held within the premises of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) on Okesa Street, Ado-Ekiti, the Governor, who was represented by Commissioner for Education, Evangelist Foluso Daramola, described the distribution as a demonstration of government’s commitment to ensuring qualitative education at all levels.

According to him, the distribution of textbooks, library resource materials and other instructional materials jointly provided by the State Government and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) was meant to strengthen teaching and learning in public schools across the State.
