Lexus is giving buyers of the 2020 LX 570 a new way to express their style with the introduction of the all-new Sport Package. Available on the 3-row model only, the new interior and exterior styling package enhance the LX’s traditional lines with the following updates:
- Exterior: Exclusive sport grille and front fascia, revised lower rear valence, body colour side mirrors with chrome accents.
- Interior: Semi-aniline, leather-trimmed seats in Black, Cabernet, or exclusive Moonlight White, black headliner.
LX models with the Sport Package also include the Luxury package (heated/ventilated front/rear seats, four-zone climate concierge, LX projector door lamps), 21-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, a Mark Levinson 19-speaker surround sound audio system, heated linear espresso wood steering wheel, head-up display and a wireless charging pad.
Rugged and Reliable Performance
Powering the LX 570 is a 5.7-litre V8 engine with 383 horsepower and 90-per cent of its 403 lb.-ft. of torque available at 3,600 rpm. Equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission, the LX 570 is capable of towing up to 7,000-lbs.
The LX’s sturdy body-on-frame structure is combined with a multi-terrain system to enhance the driver’s control over challenging, varied landscapes. The system adapts to five different types of terrain — Rock, Rock and Dirt, Mogul, Loose Rock and Mud and Sand.
Ideal Safety Features
The standard Lexus Safety System+ includes Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Intelligent High-Beam headlamps and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control can maintain a preset distance from a vehicle travelling ahead. Using a combination of millimetre-wave radar and a front-facing camera, PCS can detect vehicles, and, in some circumstances, a pedestrian. PCS can warn the driver of a possible collision and can initiate automatic braking with Brake Assist if necessary.
The 2020 Lexus LX 570 goes on sale in September with a base price of $86,380 for the two-row model. The three-row model starts at $91,380. Sport Package models will have a base price of $99,300.
